Hello,

do you have cameras installed to monitor your house? Wired or wireless? The wired option seems safer to me. What kind of cables should be prepared for this?

I would appreciate any suggestions and information.

Here is a picture I specifically took earlier.

The camera is a zilnk with PTZ control. The recording is Full HD.

I don’t really want to clearly recognize faces with this one. I wanted it for an overview. The one for faces will be installed somewhere else.

Delete the image quickly. You are monitoring a public area, which is prohibited. Additionally, you need signage at the property entrances.
There are blind spots in front of the roof. You can eliminate these with additional cameras (as you probably plan to do).

I also don’t see any public space there. Just the likely fenced property (not visible in the picture) covering several hectares and the private driveway including a gate and warning sign (not visible in the picture).

Of course, cables. Preferably PoE.

You don’t need to install separate electrical wiring. A network cable is sufficient. My cameras from Balter operate solely via network cable.
