Hello everyone,

we are planning to install a sunshade for our conservatory. It has been overdue for a while, but due to financial reasons, we have postponed it since the conservatory was built. Would you recommend an external or internal sunshade? Our conservatory heats up a lot, so maybe an external shade would be better? However, I am concerned that cleaning might be more difficult with an external one. We live near Speyer, and I am looking for a company that can install it at a fair price. I have heard of one company from acquaintances. Has anyone had experience with this company and could share their feedback with me? Otherwise, I am open to other providers and would appreciate any recommendations.

Best regards,

Hello Tom, I have enough experience with conservatories to tell you that an external awning is definitely a better option, as it prevents warm air from entering in the first place. Recommendation: equip a conservatory awning with at least a wind and sun sensor. How have you planned or solved the ventilation and air conditioning of the conservatory?
I cannot give you a recommendation regarding the company in Speyer.
