Hello everyone,
I would like to widen our driveway, and the small flower bed shown in the photo is going to be removed.
My problem is that I don’t have enough paving stones left. I have two or three pieces lying around here. I could take some from a corner further up where the trash bins are currently placed. I could separate that area with other stones or slabs. However, according to my calculation, I’m still missing some stones to close the gap.
Now I’m hoping for some good ideas from you. I have already considered removing a few rows of stones near the street in front of the wide concrete strip and laying a different kind of paving there. I had already searched on eBay Classifieds for such stones but didn’t find anything. Do you have any other ideas on how I could solve this? And please, no suggestions like “repave the entire driveway”... I’m not planning that at the moment and it’s not in the budget. Thanks

Then you can use the freed-up paving stones to widen the left side.
The grass pavers come in different colors. They probably have a gray like the one you already have (help, it reminds me of Loriot 😀).

I wouldn’t want to deal with the effort on the old paving. If it’s going to be large-scale, then do it completely new.

And I wouldn’t want to deal with the effort involved in reusing the old paving. If it’s going to be large scale, then just do it new. I agree with that. I’m really considering redoing the entire area. I’m just a bit hesitant because of all the work involved.

The neighbors opposite managed it themselves, and their project was even more work. They converted their front yard into parking spaces and had to build a proper base first. I’m hoping to already have that in place since the stones themselves are still well laid and there are no ruts visible. But I’m still undecided 😉
