ᐅ The built-in oven is malfunctioning.

a somewhat more urgent issue. I inherited an oven unit from Whirlpool / Ikea when taking over a kitchen.
At first, the oven worked well, but then the following problems occurred:

- The oven keeps ventilating for a very long time. It’s normal for the oven to keep blowing air to release the heat after baking, but mine keeps blowing even when the inside is completely cold.

- When I select a heating mode and then turn the temperature dial, the target temperature blinks, which is normal. However, the beeper no longer sounds clear and pure; instead, it’s distorted and weak. Also, the oven light flashes off in sync with the blinking.

- Recently, a few times during baking, the oven reset itself.

Do you have any idea what might be happening or what I could do? The warranty expired a long time ago.

Throw it away and buy a new one... Or

Call the whirlpool manufacturer and ask if they can provide a cost estimate and how much it would cost...

Alternatively, get a quote from a local dealer nearby. Then see what to do.
