I recently installed the IKEA Metod kitchen and am now looking for suitable care products for the cabinet fronts. My question specifically concerns which cleaning agents and maintenance products are appropriate for the different surfaces of the Metod fronts (e.g., foil laminate, matte, glossy, painted) without damaging or disfiguring them.
Perhaps someone has experience with products that protect the material over time, do not cause stickiness, or leave a chalky residue. Is it better to avoid harsh cleaners, or are there certain products that IKEA itself recommends? Tips on cleaning methods (e.g., types of cloths, moisture levels, temperature) would also be greatly appreciated.
