Hello,
I am considering replacing my wood stove with a water-heated stove. The heating pipes also run behind my current stove. Is it possible to connect the stove to the heating circuit at any point? From what I understand so far, it is connected on the return line of the heating circuit.
I would appreciate any advice.

Where does the hot water from the water-bearing wood-burning stove go then?
As wrobel mentioned, four additional water pipes are needed for the water-bearing wood-burning stove:
1x supply and
1x return line to the storage tank,
1x fresh water line for cooling, e.g., in case of pump failure,
1x wastewater connection,
1x cable for the temperature sensor (depending on the pump installation),
and a sufficiently large storage volume.
