which of you have vinyl flooring in the bathroom and can share your experiences? I think the softer and warm-to-the-touch surface would be quite nice.
What do you usually put on the walls when the floor is vinyl? What do you have on the walls if vinyl is installed on the floor?

Since there are many vinyl options with a wood appearance, as well as tiles in this style, you can check what is being used here.
In the exhibitions I have visited so far, tiles were also used in this area.
According to my tiler, when installing vinyl flooring, it is important that the floor is laid first because of the wall connection.

In my previous apartment, I also had vinyl flooring in the bathroom, and tiles only in the shower, around the sink, and around the toilet. The rest was plaster.
