Hello everyone,

maybe you can help us.

We have a fireplace, a central ventilation system with supply and exhaust air, a cooker hood, and our chimney sweep insists on using a pressure differential monitor. So far, so good.

After extensive research, we have chosen a “branded device” that costs 1,000 euros. More than one consumer device can be connected to this unit.

Our electrician (who has no prior experience installing pressure differential monitors) quoted a price of 1,121 euros net / 1,334 euros gross for the installation.
We find this extremely high. The installation only requires connecting two cables to the end devices and embedding the unit into the wall (we also reviewed the installation manual ourselves).

Regarding the building conditions:
- The cooker hood is located 4 meters (13 feet) away.
- The ventilation unit is installed under the roof.

We are now considering finding another electrician who already has experience with pressure differential monitors.

What would be a reasonable price range for such an installation?
We are only interested in the approximate cost of the installation.

Thank you very much!

Oh.. We need something like that too, but we haven’t dealt with it yet. I had a total of 500–600 in mind :/

We decided on 1000 € for the Leda Luc 2 (excluding installation). The price for installation is not yet known to us. In fact, only one bus cable for the mechanical ventilation system is laid in a conduit.
