ᐅ Thermal balancing – Initial measurements taken for adjustment

Hello, I have started documenting the temperatures inside our house. I have attached a link with a table. What do you think about the data? The temperatures have remained fairly consistent under similar weather conditions. Overall, I am quite satisfied with the data. I have not made any changes since the hydraulic balancing.

The bedroom upstairs should be cooler. Can I simply reduce the flow rate there? Is there anything else I should consider given that we have very short loops (starting from 16 meters (52 feet) :/)?

In the last four days, we have ventilated very little because we have a central ventilation system. As a result, there hasn’t been much change in the values. Should I continue documenting and ventilate more aggressively and variably in the coming days to test how the rooms warm up? The heating curve is currently set to 2 out of 10. Does it need adjustment? Link description

Do these square timber sections usually have a consistent edge length? What should I look for in the building supply store if I don’t want to spend ages twisting with pliers?

I can adjust our manifold with a standard radiator vent key. The same type used for radiators.

Hello everyone. I have now made the initial adjustments. In my opinion, something isn’t right. I have turned the valves in the bedroom and dressing room upstairs a full rotation to the left. I also noticed that none of the manifolds can be turned to the right. In my view, their final position has already been reached. I have attached a picture to illustrate this. You can see that when I turn the control to the left, the entire brass part slightly screws downwards. I cannot turn it to the right to increase the flow because the brass part is already hitting the top stop. I hope you understand what I mean. For example, downstairs, I have noticed that there is hardly any flow in the hallway and utility room. There, the control is below 0.5. I have no idea if these circuits are even still open.

Do the red covers possibly need to be rotated after all? Although I don’t see what would trigger that. The protective caps are not connected to any kind of mechanism.

It would be helpful to know the manufacturer of the valve inserts, so we could provide precise guidance on what needs to be done.

Yes, I would like to know that as well. We had to have the plumbing work completed by another company. Therefore, I can no longer ask the plumber. There is no information on the system itself. According to the quote, the actuators are from G.U.T.
