I ordered a patio roof from steg-platten.de. Our terrace measures 4x8m (13x26 ft). After 4 m (13 ft), it narrows to 3.25m (10.7 ft), so there is a corner in the house wall at that point. The supplier was the only one who allowed me to order different sizes.
One house wall (HW1) is specified as 4.02 m (13.2 ft) wide, and the other (HW2) as 4.11 m (13.5 ft) wide.
Now the roof has been delivered. The supplier simply planned 4 sections about 1 m (3.3 ft) wide for the roof part in front of HW1 and 5 sections about 80 cm (31.5 inches) wide for the part in front of HW2. Of course, that looks completely odd. I don’t want to assemble it that way. It would be relatively simple to divide the roof in front of HW1 into 5 sections as well.
There was no information about this beforehand, neither in the order confirmation, the order itself, nor on the invoice.
Does anyone here have experience with what options are available against a supplier in this situation?
I have, of course, written all this to customer support. But they say I could just order additional parts if I want to. I have legal expenses insurance, but I wonder if there is any basis for a claim here.

If without: simply order a crossbar for the 3.25m (10 ft 8 in) depth as well. Or are the holes already pre-drilled?
