Hi,
I’m asking on behalf of a friend who, by a lucky coincidence, was allocated a plot of land by the local municipality (application process/point system).
Here is some information:
- Total of 24 plots
- Price: 206€/m² (about 19 USD/ft²) fully serviced
- Allocation decided by the municipal council; evaluation of application forms -> point system -> order of plot selection
- North-facing slope
- Defined building envelope (house + garages including ridge direction / exception for the central section)
- Maximum budget 650,000€ (about 695,000 USD) including the land
- Approximately 150m² (1,615 ft²) of living space planned (not necessarily with a basement)
If there is still a “suitable” plot left during allocation, which one would you choose and what approximate costs would you expect…
Attached are the plots in question.
Thanks for your opinions

If there is still a "suitable" option available when awarding the contract, which one would you choose? Silly question. What does your acquaintance prefer? A large plot of land or a smaller, easy-to-maintain one? Morning or evening sun (where is north)?
