Hello!
I’m looking for a way to hang a center speaker weighing about 1 kilogram (2.2 pounds) on one of those FRAMSTÅ rails. Is there a bracket available for that? The TV is mounted on the wall like this:

The center speaker looks like this:

It has two hanging loops on the back:

Is there a solution for this? The center speaker should hang here (right below the LCD):

I would really appreciate any advice!

Adhesive? How exactly is that supposed to work? And screwing it in? Where should I screw the speaker to?
I only have the glass panes with the aluminum strips in between.
The only option I see is somehow bending a piece of metal with a hole so it can hook onto the strip. But that’s very complicated. I don’t know where to get something like that.

Hello
In automotive accessory stores, you can find perforated metal strips that are easy to bend yourself and use to screw the box in place!

Just a suggestion.

Yes, I basically had the same idea. But to be able to hook it onto the rail without it bending back, you would need thicker metal. And then it’s not so easy to bend anymore.
Mounting tape is a double-sided, strong adhesive tape, apply it.

I doubt that the adhesive surface shown above would hold the weight. And I don’t think the glass panels can withstand much force either. It’s tricky.

It’s unfortunate that Ikea doesn’t seem to offer anything for this.

Hello
for the hooks, you could bend the metal strips twice . Any vice is suitable for this.

Since your LCD is now wall-mounted, the screw holes for the stand are no longer needed. So you could attach a thin piece of wood, plastic, or metal sheet there and then screw the speaker onto it. Ideally, black acrylic glass would be best as it resembles real glass the closest.
