Hello everyone,

I live in a condominium where several light switches do not work.

Top left – kitchen
Top right – dining area
Center – no function
Bottom left – living area
Bottom right – no function

Is it possible that more light switches were installed than necessary?
Perhaps one of the switches controls a lamp at a wall outlet?
I find it strange that the main switch, which is quite large, is not working.

White door with glass window on the left, door handle, thermostat, three switches, wooden cabinet on the right.

Small round indentation on a light gray wall, barely noticeable.

Never worked before? If several of them are connected, check if someone has tampered with the fuse box.

Possibly switchable sockets?

Count the switches and light outlets, and the “problem” is solved.

Maybe someone has rewired it before? I would have swapped the switches accordingly, but that’s not necessarily required.

Without expert knowledge, you won’t get an accurate answer. There are numerous possibilities. Personally, I can’t imagine that switches were installed randomly.
