Hello everyone,

I live in a condominium where several light switches do not work.

Top left – kitchen
Top right – dining area
Center – no function
Bottom left – living area
Bottom right – no function

Is it possible that more light switches were installed than necessary?
Perhaps one of the switches controls a lamp at a wall outlet?
I find it strange that the main switch, which is quite large, is not working.

White door with glass window on the left, door handle, thermostat, three switches, wooden cabinet on the right.

Small round indentation on a light gray wall, barely noticeable.

In our home, a ceiling light outlet was covered with a mounting box because the previous tenants (and we as well) did not need a third light fixture in that spot. Do you have something similar?

I assume these are 5-core lighting cables, where currently only one “channel” is switched. However, you need to check this carefully to be sure; at the moment, everything is just speculation.

The second picture shows an additional wall/ceiling outlet, right?
That is exactly what it is there for.
