Hello
During the final planning of the kitchen details, we realized that the exhaust vent flap creates a real hole in our carefully sealed construction.
While researching, I came across two systems with flaps that open and close automatically.
The Berbel BMK L 150 with an electric motor and the Flow Star from Naber with a mechanical mechanism controlled by the pressure of the extractor hood.
However, the installation depths are quite large, so I ordered a Naber unit to check if it can be adapted accordingly.

Does anyone have experience with such systems? Or has anyone installed one before? Maybe someone can objectively assess how much the exhaust vent hole in the wall affects performance when idle.
These units are not exactly inexpensive.

I have compiled what I found so far on our website.
