Hello everyone!
Have you chosen a security key for your front door or side entrance door? Or did you go with a standard, regular key?

I just had to laugh when I read about the aerated concrete You’re laughing. You don’t even need a drill for a large hole in the wall. A cordless screwdriver is enough.
Make 4 larger holes in the wall and then connect them with the Japanese jigsaw. It hardly makes any noise.
We also installed a security lock with pull-out protection on the front door.
For now, I switched the garage to a simple electronic lock with chip and PIN.
However, our child will start school this year. A single spare key for our lock costs around 50€ (about 54 USD).
I definitely need one.
When I think about how much a new lock would cost if a key gets lost, I’m seriously considering switching to an electronic lock.
The only thing holding me back so far is that this is the only door that can be opened from the outside. If the lock malfunctions, I wouldn’t be able to get in.

Yesterday, our KABA Expert Plus locking system was installed.
I really like the shape of the key! Nice and small, very handy!
As soon as the mailbox is installed (unfortunately the plasterer is delayed…), I will order a lock cylinder for it as well. And once the fence with the two garden gates is in place, I will also order a lock cylinder for each gate.
I’m glad I chose a keyed alike locking system. Finally, only the car key and ONE key in my pocket!

I like the key shape! So does the burglar. A key shape that clearly shows it leads to valuable items – now, that’s not what I call security.https://www.instagram.com/11antgmxde/
