Hello everyone,

Currently, our new garage floor is just screed. We would like to make the surface more durable against dirt, salt, and moisture.
I did some research and came across epoxy-based sealant paint, as well as oil-based paint as alternatives. What type of flooring have you used in your garages? Which paint manufacturers would you recommend for this purpose?

Good luck

Oil-based paints are typically artist paints that dry slowly. The coating needs to be resistant to oil, gasoline, and tires. It is best to get advice at a paint store, but epoxy sounds like a good option.

Well, I'll just join in right away 🙂

The original plan was actually just to apply a coating with concrete paint or something similar. However, the expert said that in the long run, you won't be happy with it...!?

Water glass is a simple solution.
