Hello,
We need to decide on doors soon.
At the moment, we are interested in flush white lacquered doors from KTM, the Cube model.
They are, of course, quite expensive.
We are now considering whether it really makes sense to install the same doors in the basement.
Our basement is not living space, but it is fully tiled and properly plastered and skim-coated as a waterproof concrete basement.
How did you handle this in your new build? All the same doors or different ones?
The suppliers we visited recommend staying with the same system for the sake of appearance.
Best regards

hampshire15 Jan 2021 13:41@Hausbautraum20 Yes, the floor plan was posted somewhere here in the forum during summer 2018. However, I can’t find it right now. Here is a brief overview; it ended up looking quite similar – many of the walls are just foundations. Also included is a photo that is now over a year old, since the plan itself is difficult to read.

In the basement, I wouldn’t want white doors; I would prefer ones that are dirt-resistant and very durable.
We have 8 doors in the house^^. Well, currently 7, but the last and 8th one will be installed in 2 weeks;).

Ok, thanks for the answers.
We will start looking for the most durable doors possible.
Of course, I could also spend the 900€ (about $970) on something else. Building a house is expensive enough already 🙂
I'm curious about the price of normal, more durable doors.
Has anyone here installed KTM doors by any chance?
Unfortunately, there is little information about this manufacturer available online.

We probably have quite a few interior doors as well; including the basement, there are 17 in total. I wouldn’t want to be without any of them, all are used 🙂
In the basement, we have CPL (continuous pressure laminate). Affordable and durable.
We also considered the same as the original poster, but fortunately, we went with this solution.
