I need some advice for my home renovation. From a building biology perspective, which is better: drywall (gypsum board) or Fermacell panels?

One might be tempted to take the easy route and say,
You can only compare things that actually exist ... 😉 but who likes to take the easy way ...
So I assume you actually meant gypsum board and Fermacell panels, or more generally gypsum plasterboard and gypsum fiberboard.
Both types of panels mainly consist of gypsum, cellulose fibers, and various additives. The manufacturers could provide more details, but the outcome is predictable: both types of panels are, of course, top quality in terms of building biology ...
... and this is not disputed in the professional field either. 🙂
