Hello everyone,
We want to upgrade our shower to a rain shower.
When searching online, you find many options, but most include the shower mixer.
However, we want an external shower riser rail.
Do you have any recommendations?
Or do you have tips on what to consider when retrofitting?
Stainless steel or brass components?
Square or round showerhead?

We had to choose a different drain channel (mainly because of the waterfall).

You really make one nervous.
You just want to update the comfort a bit, and suddenly the cable cross-section and drainage capacity become an issue.
Exactly that. With a hose, since an external mixer is already installed. I need to look up the company online. It’s only about a half-hour drive from us, and there’s another bathroom showroom very close by. I hadn’t even thought of the most obvious idea. Thanks to you.

There are versions with an integrated thermostat or with a hose for connection to an external mixer.

Is it really the pipe diameter? I previously installed a (cheap) rain shower in my rental apartment – worked great and the pipes certainly weren’t specially sized for it! Take a look. That sounds good.
Our house is from 2013 (oh dear, already that old), so the supply line should be fine.
Yesterday we spontaneously bought an Ikea unit, but it’s not tall enough.
We will take a look at the Schulte one.
Thanks to all of you for now.

The exposed rain showers are often smaller than the concealed ones.
In our case, everything is normal and works fine. The Raindance E 300 is already not an option because of the price.
