Hello everyone,

We plan to replace the oil heating system from 2005 in a two-family house with a heat pump next year.
The living area is about 240 sqm (2583 sq ft), with approximately 50 sqm (538 sq ft) underfloor heating.
I have already obtained several quotes, ranging between €42,000 and €48,000.
The heat pump will be used for both heating and domestic hot water.
According to the heating engineers, our electricity consumption will then be around 9,000 to 10,000 kWh per year.
One supplier offered us the AlphaTherm Zero with 14 kW from SunHybrid. It’s a Mitsubishi outdoor unit paired with a special indoor unit.
Does anyone have experience with this? It is said to have the advantage that the electric backup heater is only needed when temperatures drop below -15°C (5°F).

How do these offers generally compare? Is around €45,000 a typical price for a heat pump of this size?
