Hello everyone,
We are currently planning our new build and are wondering if it makes sense to skip the telecommunications connection.
We have been using cable broadband for years and don’t really need a connection from the telecom provider.
Is there any reason not to do this?
Thank you very much for your opinions.
Good luck
Martin

In a maximum of 2 years, you won’t get a “regular” landline anymore; all telephone calls will be made via VoIP, and the telecom company is already actively switching everything over. The telecom company will also no longer sell new analog lines. Therefore, the advantages of the old analog connection are unfortunately a thing of the past. As a backup, only a mobile phone remains, with all the well-known disadvantages.
