I want to have a bathroom floor covered with click vinyl or tiles.
I have already removed the tiles.

Now I want a professional company to remove the adhesive. See photo.

1) Do I need to make sure that the adhesive residues from the floor tiles are also removed under the wall tiles, or is it common to remove the adhesive only up to the edge of the wall tiles? Since the area will be finished with silicone, the joint won’t be visible.

2) What is the approximate cost for this work? The area is 4 sqm (43 sq ft).

Thank you

Thank you for the tips!
I started the tough work with a hammer, chisel, screwdriver, and putty knife. So far, progress is slow, but I’m getting faster. I also found a tip online to moisten the adhesive. I let the water soak in well, and it seems to help a bit. The screwdriver is my “smallest” chisel.

Does the chisel become dull and unusable over time?

Here is a photo of the first cleared spots:

Why don’t you use a chisel then? Some people in northern Italy also call it a gouge.

Thanks, I didn't know that. I won’t post any links in the future. Unfortunately, I can no longer edit the post.
