Hello,

Does anyone have a tip for affordable pleated blinds (plissé) wider than 1.50m (5 feet), which is usually the maximum? I need 1.65m (5.4 feet) for a fixed glazing section (window strip) and, if possible, a mounting method that doesn’t require drilling. Or would you drill into the frame for installation?

Thanks!

I would prefer something more in the country house style. I find the most beautiful things on Pinterest (once again), but I don’t know where to buy such items around here.
You can find those at any decent interior decorator’s shop. They are usually available in every small town, and often well stocked even in carpet stores like TTM/TTL and similar. You just have to see if the seller’s taste matches yours, but there are plenty of options.

Since all of those are closed for the time being, I’m searching online.

For us, they also come out for on-site consultations 🙂

For the sliding elements, we already have a rough price estimate of 300€ to 400€ per window – depending on complexity. However, I’m still not sure if I need an interior decorator for that... 🙂

Before the renovation, the affected windows (stairwell) looked like this:

Window sill with black pot containing a Monstera plant, green leaves; curtains on the window.

And we also don’t want pleated blinds everywhere...
