ᐅ Filling a Prefabricated House: Which Putty Should Be Used to Fill All the Holes?

SkyfireHello everyone,
I’m currently planning the plastering work for our prefab house and the necessary materials to purchase.
Obviously, the screws need to be covered with filler, but what about the staples? Do the stapled panels need to be filled the same way as with screws?
How should the corners and wall connections between drywall panels be finished? With acrylic sealant or joint tape and filler?
Should edge protectors be installed on the relevant edges around windows and doors?
Have I forgotten anything?
Thank you very much for your help.

Staple nails definitely need to be filled, unless you want rust stains to appear under the wallpaper eventually. Corners and wall joints require joint tape and filling, and edge protectors should be mandatory anyway! Depending on the desired final surface, the butt joints should also be reinforced with joint tape and filled with multiple layers for a wider finish.
One more question on this topic.
Until now, I thought filling would be done after the screed.
Now, a contractor has offered to do Q1 before the screed, and then Q2 and Q3 after the screed has been installed and dried.
He claims this is common practice.
What do you think?
Is this acceptable, or is it better to skip that and do all the filling after the screed?
Thanks for your help.
