Hello everyone!

I’ve installed a sauna area in my basement. I separated it from the rest of the basement with multiwall polycarbonate sheets.

Now I would like to separate the toilet and the shower from the washbasin area.

For this, I need fittings to connect the partition walls to the main wall. I also need a door with the appropriate fittings. So far, I haven’t had much luck finding these. Can anyone give me some advice?

What materials are suitable for partition walls in a basement? They should be lightweight and, of course, bright. Ideally, I would use the same multiwall sheets I used for the room divider. However, I assume they might not be strong enough, especially for the toilet partition.

The ceiling is dropped, and the installation pipes run above it. I’m not allowed to anchor anything directly to that.

I’m open to other similar solutions as well.

Best regards, Seifert

Hello,

The important thing is to choose moisture-resistant materials. Fasteners should, of course, be rust-proof, and separation panels for wet rooms should be used. The thickness of the partition is less important, but it should provide a certain level of stability.
