ᐅ Excavation Work Quote – Request for Evaluation

I have received the following quote for earthworks in the southwest:

Prices are net, excluding VAT.

Site setup: 650.00 €
Excavated soil disposal at landfill: 24 € per ton (metric)
Leveling: applying and compacting 30cm (12 inches) of gravel: 28 € per ton (metric)
Graveling driveway: 28 € per ton (metric)
Installation of mixed control shaft: 2,700 €
Laying wastewater pipes: 95 € per linear meter
Laying rainwater pipes: 90 € per linear meter
Gravel for backfilling work areas: 20 € per ton (metric)

Would this be a fair price?

I believe everything except the pipes is fine. The pipes are about twice as expensive as what I pay. However, it might be that the material prices have recently jumped again; I don’t follow that that closely.

I agree – the price is excellent! Material costs are very difficult right now.

To be honest, I find it quite expensive, especially the pipes. About four months ago, we paid €23.50 net per meter for DN 100 and €32.50 net per meter for DN 150.

That must be for the pipe only, but not for pipe plus installation, right?
