we want to extend the supply and exhaust air distribution boxes by 1-2 ducts. Currently, we have distribution boxes designed for 10 connections (I believe). Since the box actually has 20 connection ports, we are considering using just a few additional fittings and then utilizing about 12 connections per box. Is there any reason why this wouldn’t be advisable? We don’t want to buy new distribution boxes as they are not exactly inexpensive.
What do you think?
