We are considering building with this company.Given your design is not exactly mainstream, I see you will likely need to choose the "innovative" option (modifying the "Smart plus" version probably won’t be sufficient or cost-effective). You should also consider hiring an independent architect, as this general contractor (and turnkey builder) even refers to themselves as a “draftsman” in their advertising (which I find somewhat honest, but in my opinion, isn’t enough for your project). I didn’t find anything meaningful in their "gallery," especially no solid references. However, they seem to be a reliable small regional provider.https://www.instagram.com/11antgmxde/

Our floor plans were even drawn by them, so that doesn’t seem to be an issue. That’s exactly what I mean: just because a general contractor’s draftsman copies customer plans and passes them to their estimator doesn’t mean much. If there were no obstacles regarding building permits/planning permission within those plans, the customer requests smoothly proceed up to the permit stage – but even in cases where an independent architect would have pointed out problems.

Unfortunately, I only find very few experiences. Unfortunately, I also have just one: https://www.hausbau-forum.de/threads/novum-massivhaus-erfahrungen-wer-kennt-die-firma.3154/page-4#post-116075 – all other posts in this older thread refer to a company with a similar name located in Rhineland-Palatinate.
But for a regionally focused company, it is normal that references are not found online but rather in the construction areas around the company’s headquarters. Among others, there is likely a finished project at Fasanerieberg, and they should be able to give you current construction sites as well.

Our floor plans have even already been drawn by them, so that doesn’t seem to be an issue. The offer sounds good as well. But it is the first solid construction company we are dealing with.
Unfortunately, I can only find very few experiences to refer to. Have you decided on Novum? What were your experiences? Best regards
Hey,
you really have to keep a close eye on the architect, or rather the interior architect, because there has been sloppy work everywhere. Our address was wrong, the plot size was incorrect in the building permit / planning application, drainage was forgotten, windows were missing in the execution plan, and so on. But apparently, they also have a second architect who is supposed to be quite good, from what I’ve heard.
I can’t say we’re unhappy, but I also can’t say we’re satisfied.
It’s not running perfectly, but not totally badly either. The roof frame and shell structure are now up.
Unfortunately, the construction manager is not very committed and has already caused delays because he forgot about our ventilation system and only remembered it when the corresponding outlets were already in the ceiling panels. Novum normally doesn’t install central ventilation systems, but we wanted one.
You’re not informed about delays; generally, you have to chase information yourself, but at least the masons and groundwork company have done a solid job. The roof frame fits well too.
Let’s see how it continues.
One thing I definitely wouldn’t take is the tied-in financier. We got much better terms and advice from our own financier, and she supported us really well. The guy from Novum was very unsympathetic to us.
