Our search for a turnkey construction company in the greater Cologne area has proven to be very difficult. It’s not that there are no providers, but those we have found so far do not meet our expectations and do not deviate from their standard services.
The main issue is that all of them work exclusively with aerated concrete blocks.
However, we want a traditional wall made of calcium silicate bricks + insulation + facing bricks.
The reasons are sound insulation, the practical handling of hanging objects, and indoor climate.
Can anyone recommend a company for postal code area 50 that also builds with calcium silicate bricks and offers custom planning?

Logically, contact has already been made. However, anyone planning to build a house should not rely on advice from just one company. Instead, they should choose the best option for themselves. If someone in the construction industry does their job well, they don’t need to fear their own offer.
I find it strange that no company would be willing to use sand-lime brick instead of aerated concrete. When we negotiated with the companies, the sand-lime brick option was also available to us. We decided against it because we have a plaster facade and, due to the insulation properties, chose aerated concrete. However, 4 out of 5 companies said it was no problem to use sand-lime brick as well.
Of course, if you go to a company like He...ma or Vie..ock, which enforce their standards strictly and don’t allow any deviations in their schedule, that’s a different matter. Or you could go directly to the architect, who might also build you a timber house...
