Hello,
in our new build (KfW55, 2023, ventilation system installed) we have repeatedly noticed mold stains and mildew inside the plastic frames of the windows. This mainly affected the upper floor, even though we have a decentralized ventilation system and also follow the ventilation plan by airing out the rooms 3-4 times a day.
Now, today we have seen mold (or some other white substance) between the panes of the triple-glazed windows.
I cannot explain this, but I am also not an expert.
I appreciate any advice. Unfortunately, the builder and window manufacturer are currently not very cooperative.

Now we noticed today mold (or something else white) between the panes of the triple-glazed windows. Before @profil65 kindly responds to my call in this thread, maybe you could clarify: where exactly inside the frames did this occur, and does the past tense mean the issue has "moved"?

Before mold can develop, there should have been condensation for quite some time. The spores need something to attach to. Overall, this suggests to me that the insulating glass unit is no longer fully sealed. Condensation forming inside the frame then naturally runs to areas where drainage channels are not optimally positioned. I've tagged the colleague here because, as a window dealer, I have not been active for over three years (and as a window manufacturer even over nine years).
