After about 20 years, the base as a boundary to the neighboring property looks like shown in the photo. Apparently, the plaster is flaking off due to rising damp. Now I can remove the paving, replaster and repaint it, but in a few years I will have the same problem again. My question is, is there moisture-resistant panel material that can be cut to size (20 cm (8 inches) below the top edge of the pavement), fastened with plugs or glued on, then the joints filled and finally painted?
