I recently saw a TV segment about so-called luxury laminate flooring. It is said to have a more refined appearance and to be significantly more durable than regular laminate. The decorative layers don’t just feature wood patterns but also marble and other designs. All of this comes in a high-gloss finish. The price is said to be around CHF 45 per square meter (about $45 per square meter), which is comparable to inexpensive hardwood flooring. I think this laminate looks really good, and I’m curious where one can find it or at least see it in person. Has anyone here come across anything like this?

herrmann-113 Oct 2015 12:43I’m not a big fan of that. There’s always a lot of fuss about nothing. I prefer traditional hardwood flooring at a reasonable price.

I have to disagree with you here. We also looked at this laminate flooring, and I’m really impressed by it. It looks great and is easier to install than hardwood. The price is also much more affordable. But of course, that’s a matter of personal preference.
