ᐅ Looking for a new bathtub with a wall-hung installation system (pre-wall installation).

Hello everyone,

we are currently looking for a bathtub for our new build and are feeling overwhelmed by the options. Visiting bathroom showrooms didn’t really help either, as our inquiries were mostly handled quickly and superficially — just trying to get a quote out fast and done.

We need a bathtub to be installed flush against one wall. The other three sides will be free-standing. Dimensions: 180 x 80 cm (71 x 31.5 inches).

Possible candidates so far are:

Kaldewei Meisterstück CONODUO 2
Duravit P3 Comforts bathtub

I like that the Kaldewei is made of durable steel enamel, but it is also quite pricey.

So here’s our question to the experts out there: can you recommend any other bathtubs to consider (including lesser-known manufacturers, tips, and suggestions)?

We chose a bathtub made of plastic from Richter & Frenzel (house brand).

Mauersberger Jucunda. We installed it in a similar way, with two open sides.
