Hello, attached are the drawings of our bathroom design... one of them by a professional (with the round bathtub).
What do you think?
I have also included the dimensions of the bathtub... do you think it is really comfortable and large enough?!
Bathroom floor plan with shower enclosure 100*120, bathtub on the right, sink on the left, window, 8.92 m² (96 sq ft)

Bathroom floor plan: bathtub on the left, shower enclosure on the right, sink, window at the bottom

Bathroom floor plan: shower 100x120 cm (39x47 inches), bathtub on the left, window at the bottom, door at the top, area 8.92 m² (96 sq ft)

Bathroom floor plan with bathtub, sink, shower enclosure, window, 8.92 m² (96 sq ft)

Having a 120*100 cm (47x39 inches) shower and a comfortable bathtub is very important to us.
Best regards

I once had the
Kaldewei Studio/Studio Star corner bathtub, you can look it up, it is very comfortable because it is deeper.
However, I am 165 cm (65 inches) tall, and my husband is only 178 cm (70 inches), and he also liked it a lot. However, it was a bit cramped for two people, especially because the foot area was narrow – which is not the case here.

I don’t find the last three bathroom layouts successful, as the bathtub location doesn’t work well with the windows. It looks completely random and unplanned.
What is the purpose of the small window?

I can recommend the Kaldewei Mega Duo – very comfortable, even for two people. It is also water-saving.

Hello,
the second window is a leftover because there used to be two rooms. Without the second window, it is unfortunately very dark. What do you mean by the bathtub’s position not matching the window?

The bathtub is placed in the corner, and there is a small window there, also quite close to the corner... another window just starts around the last fifth of the bathtub and extends beyond the tub’s edge.

Is this an older building that has been renovated? What are the sill heights of the windows?

Here is a tip:
The 105cm (41 inches) space next to the door will be very tight if you have a 20cm (8 inches) deep platform and still want to fit a door frame. Or is the frame already included in the measurement?
This planning is about centimeters—an 80cm (31.5 inches) bathtub that is tiled will actually be about 83cm (33 inches) wide. The platform of 20cm (8 inches) depth must have a rough construction depth that is less. For the platform, keep in mind that it will be relatively high near the toilet, but I would recommend making the platform level with the bathtub at the tub area. So, you would have a height offset.

I would go with the version from the architect. The washbasin definitely belongs next to the door. I use it all the time and want quick access without having to go to the far end of the room. The second most important thing for me is the toilet, as I want to reach it quickly and without obstacles. Currently, my toilet is located behind the door, which I find very inconvenient. However, many people prefer to keep the toilet out of sight. It’s really a matter of personal taste.

I like having the shower behind the door. The door is always closed while showering anyway, and if space allows, this is the most efficient use of the room. In my opinion, placing the shower next to the bathtub is a bit old-fashioned and often makes small bathrooms feel cramped. That’s why I really like the diagonal layout. Also, I can easily imagine enjoying the view out the window while taking a bath. I once had a skylight above the bathtub and thought it was fantastic.

As for which bathtub to choose, I can’t say at this point because that issue is still ahead of us. I also find the selection and price range quite confusing.
