Hello everyone,

Since this week, we have a semi-enclosed roof structure over our terrace (4 x 5 m [13 x 16 ft]) and are now looking for an aesthetically pleasing gas heater. Does anyone have any recommendations? The unit should be no taller than 1.85 m (6 ft).

Best regards & thanks

Do not use gas but infrared instead

Greta would recommend a fully enclosed cold conservatory before you start heating.

Electric power is not an option, neither desired nor technically feasible. We have a ground source heat pump and will be installing a photovoltaic system at the beginning of the year, so we allow ourselves the occasional use of a patio heater.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with using gas. I actually find it quite stylish. Sources -> The internet is helpful.

Greta would put on a sweater. I would too, before burning gas there. Use renewable electricity for the luxury, or just skip it.
