Hello everyone,
after quietly reading for a while, I would like to actively join the discussion.
We want to apply for a new housing development with unfortunately only 14 building plots.
The allocation is based on a points system, where my wife earns us some points (the municipality is her former place of residence and her parents live there).
Since we don’t have children yet, there will probably be enough people ahead of us.

The development plan is from 2012. New buildings are already around the area, but I don’t know why this part is only being released now.
I have combined the new and old graphic parts and added the plot sizes. It concerns the yellow-marked areas.
I’m not sure if I’m allowed to upload the official graphic part?

You can apply for as many plots as you want, but you have to specify a priority order... and here we are unsure.
Due to the shortage of plots, we would apply for all, but the order is not clear to us.

The largest plots 6177 to 6180 have an unfortunate orientation... the garden is expected to be in the northeast.

We find plots 6196, 6189, and 6182 quite interesting.
We are undecided about 6187 because you would have many neighbors there.
What would be your favorites?

This is about the Oberfeld new development in Neuried-Altenheim.

Slope: plots must be elevated to street level
Floor area ratio: 0.4

Other requirements: single-family house only, garage 5.5m (18 feet) away from the street

Homeowner Requirements
Style, roof type, building type: gable roof, modern
Basement, floors: 2 full floors or high knee wall. Basement rather not (cost reasons)

Space requirements on ground and upper floors:

Guest bedrooms per year: negligible
Open or closed layout: open
Conservative or modern design: modern
Open kitchen, kitchen island: kitchen island
Number of dining seats: 6
Fireplace: no
Music/sound wall: no

Garage, carport: we would like to have one garage
Special requests: I would like a photovoltaic system, my wife wants a pool, but we will have to see

I hope this is enough information 🙂 Thanks in advance

To be honest, I understood it exactly like that... If those four are gone, then I’m out, because I haven’t expressed any interest in the other plots before. But I’ll ask to see if I’m missing something.

If necessary, then name all fourteen, starting with your favorites first, second, third, and fourth, and then in the order of first alternate, second alternate, and so on—definitely not the remaining ten in numerical order (neither ascending nor descending), because from that point on, you would basically be identical to your competitors.

It’s obviously convenient when the contact person is not available this week.

Here is a quote from the application form:
“Additionally, we ask you to mark the building plots within the municipality that you wish to apply for. Please refer to the attached site plan for the exact location of each municipal building plot. If you are applying for multiple plots, please also indicate your order of preference. If you definitely want to secure a building plot, even if your preferred one has already been allocated elsewhere, you should apply for all plots and number them in descending order of priority.”
I will, of course, have this explained to me next week anyway.

Hmm, that clearly means no application, no consideration.

Same for me. The only question is whether all must be fully numbered. In the application form, there are two rows: one for ticking to apply and one for the order.

Exactly. Number everything 🙂

Check everything (unless there is a plot of land that you do not like) and then number them according to your preference.
