Hello. I am getting a kitchen countertop made of Technistone quartz composite and am now wondering which type of sink to choose. The kitchen showroom offered me an undermount sink, saying it is the most common option. However, I much prefer a bonded sink in the same pattern as the countertop. The showroom said that a bonded sink requires more maintenance. That is why I am writing to you to ask about your experience with both types of sinks. Thank you very much for your reply.

That looks more like a solid surface material, for example, Corian. The slab is cast in one piece. Is there anything like that available in quartz composite?

Why not use real granite here?

It would look more natural and, in my opinion, also more valuable.

It seems to me that this is more of an advertisement for "Technistone," since the countertop in "crystal white" has already been installed for a year (see https://www.hausbau-forum.de/threads/helle-arbeitsplatte-quarz-2cm-probleme.43773/page-2#post-586988) and here there is a dubious question about a suitable sink? (for an extremely poor countertop design by mEA) In addition, only these two posts have been written so far. Or am I mistaken?

I agree with @i_b_n_a_n ... but for those who are still reading here: maintenance effort is higher precisely because the corner radii are 0° (sharp corners). This always makes cleaning sinks more difficult.
