Hello,
The walls in our basement were supposed to be plastered with red lime plaster. The basement dates back to the 1930s and is slightly damp. That’s why we wanted to use a breathable lime plaster during the renovation.
Now we have noticed that the plaster contains Styrofoam mixed in.
Can it still be considered lime plaster, or does this indicate it is a lime-cement plaster?
Our construction manager insists that it is lime plaster.
The problem now is that the plaster molds quickly when humidity increases.
Thank you for your experiences.
