Good evening,
after extensive paving work and laying of stone slabs, we would like to fill the remaining small joints with a suitable material to minimize weed growth. We found online that there is a so-called "No Grow" joint filler sand that is supposed to prevent weeds from growing.
Therefore the question: Is something like this recommended? Has anyone here possibly had experience with it? Or are there better solutions?

For permeable paving, crushed stone of 1-3mm (0.04-0.12 inches) is usually used; compared to that, this will definitely have much poorer infiltration. Yes, that is what we currently have in the joints, as all our surfaces are sealed with setts. The only thing we’ve noticed so far is that this 1-3mm (0.04-0.12 inch) crushed stone washes out of the joints quickly during heavy rain. We haven’t really had a problem with weeds so far. Occasionally a small amount, but those are easy to pull out 🙂 My question was more generally about other joint materials and their infiltration performance in comparison.
