Hello again,
this Boholmen sink measures 46.6 x 30 cm (18.3 x 11.8 inches) and is said to be "suitable for cabinet carcasses with a minimum width of 40 cm (16 inches)." But cabinets labeled as 40 cm (16 inches) wide actually have an internal width of only 36.4 cm (14.3 inches) due to the 18 mm (0.7 inch) wall thickness! Is the Boholmen sink actually that much smaller, or is the rim that much wider? Or do they mean a base cabinet that is 40 cm (16 inches) wide and 60 cm (24 inches) deep, with the sink installed rotated by 90°?
