Hello,
we are currently building a new house and need to specify the heights of the bathroom fixtures.
Toilet: 41cm (16 inches) from the top edge of the ceramic (without the seat) to the finished floor level (recommended by Geberit)
Washbasin: 90cm (35 inches) from the top edge of the basin to the finished floor level (recommended by Laufen)
Shower valve mixer: 110cm (43 inches); this results in a showerhead height of 210cm (83 inches)
Bathtub faucet: 20cm (8 inches) above the top edge of the bathtub
I am 183cm (6 feet) tall, and my wife is approximately 175cm (5 feet 9 inches).
I hope you can share your feedback and experience regarding these fixture heights.
Thank you.

I think 90cm (35 inches) for the washbasin is fine.
Would you increase the toilet height to 43cm (17 inches)? We are very happy with 43cm (17 inches).
Note: A lower toilet is healthier.
A higher one might be better for getting up again as you age, but there are also raised seats and grab bars for that.
We will install the washbasin at just under 1 meter (3 feet 3 inches) in the new bathroom we will build eventually. I hate having to bend over...

Matthias4520 Oct 2022 11:54I installed my sink at 92cm (36 inches) and still find it too low.
I am 184cm (6 feet) tall.
The toilet bowl is at 44cm (17 inches), which is ideal for me.
For the shower, I would definitely install the showerhead higher so you can wash your hair without bumping into it.

Thank you. I assume you are not currently living in a tent. Have you measured the existing fixture heights in your current home (or apartment)? You can adjust them slightly up or down as needed and be done with it.
