CptHookHello everyone,
I am currently installing my click vinyl flooring and have come across a situation where I’m unsure of the best solution. I have a rather narrow L-shaped hallway that is 1m (3.3 feet) wide. The vinyl planks are 1.58m (5.2 feet) long. The vinyl needs to be laid across the hallway since it continues seamlessly from the adjacent room. Can I simply cut all the planks to 1m (3.3 feet) — creating an expansion joint — and lay them along the hallway like that, or do I still need to stagger the joints? Possibly also for aesthetic reasons, if there are no butt joints visible. Thanks in advance for your advice.
