ᐅ Ikea Besta Chest of Drawers with Selsviken Drawers Issue

Good evening,

I hope you can help me. I bought a dresser from Besta. It is supposed to have two doors at the bottom and two drawers at the top. I planned it using the planner (directly in the Ikea store), and the staff there had no objections.

Now I have assembled it, but despite the soft-closing drawer slides, the drawers do not stay in place. Either the slide is positioned too high, or I cannot open the drawer because it then falls off the door below.

This is strange.

Is it the 15cm (6 inches) high drawer box? Did you install the front as shown in the assembly instructions on page 9 instead of page 10?

yes, it is the 60x15x40 cabinet. But unfortunately, no matter how I install it, it either rubs or the gap is too large. I have tried the instructions on pages 9 and 10.

Is the shelf positioned higher than the lower front panel, or does it only appear that way in the picture? Or does the lower front panel almost align flush with the bottom of the cabinet?
