Hello,

after almost three years, we still have a construction access road that is gradually getting worse. Last year, we paved about 90% of our driveway with concrete pavers (the construction road should actually have been removed for two years now). Because the construction road is deteriorating and clay is now appearing, we have ended up with a nice clay track on the driveway. According to the manufacturer, it is practically impossible to remove the clay from the stones.

Do you perhaps have any ideas?

Best regards

I would try using a pressure washer with a surface cleaner first. If that doesn’t work, try the spray lance, and if that still doesn’t help, use the rotary surface cleaner.

I once had clayey excavated soil lying on interlocking paving for quite a while, sometimes even driving over it with a car. When the soil was removed, I used the surface cleaner again, and where most of it was already gone, the spray lance gave the final touch.

Concrete pavers and pressure washers do not go well together.

That is why I also mentioned the surface cleaner, as it doesn’t have as much power. Additionally, the pressure the pressure washer applies to the surface being cleaned depends on the distance between the nozzle and the object.
