Hello,
we are currently considering upgrading the windows in our basement and ground floor to RC2N burglary protection for our new build.
As I understand it, RC2N includes mushroom-head fittings and lockable window handles. The cost for about 15 windows is around 2,000 € (euros). Is that a normal price? I don’t think this can be done afterward, right?
How did you secure your windows?

Yes, we will have controlled residential ventilation. So, okay, I will go with RC2 / RC2 N; that should definitely be done.

There is currently an interesting thread in the Standards / Insurance / Rental Law Tips forum:

Just have a read, and afterwards you will surely install RC2 fittings.
