I know this is probably a silly question, but I really have no clue right now. In the past, I used to just hammer nails into the walls.

By now, I’ve become a bit more cautious about it. If I want to change positions later, I’d end up with lots of small nail holes in the walls.

How do you handle this? We have wallpaper. I’ve read about nano tape, which is said to hold pictures very securely, but opinions are very mixed on how well it can be removed.
I also don’t want to avoid a nail hole only to end up with a tape strip-sized hole in the wallpaper.

I would invest in a decent TV first 😉
That’s just the TV in the games room. (and the picture is from the old house) 😀
But I totally agree with you – instead of the flat screen, what should really go there in the long run is a good 50Hz CRT television.

a decent 50 Hz tube TV was enough.
When I was quite young playing Resident Evil on the PS1, that was enough to almost scare me out of my pants...

Exactly for that reason! 😉

In our home, almost everything has been hanging on adhesive nails for about 14-15 months. Even larger pictures with wooden frames hold up easily. However, we do have very smooth walls.

Unfortunately, it has shrunk. For our new kitchen, 80% of these items had to be sold. However, I plan to rebuild the collection over time.
I’ll share some pictures once the game room in the new house is finished.
