Hello everyone,

I have a question.

We recently purchased a house, and the driveway and parking spaces in front of the house (about 40 m² (430 sq ft)) are made of grass pavers. More precisely, they are grid stones with all kinds of weeds growing through them. This is quite bothersome to me. My idea is to remove the material from each opening and fill them with gravel/crushed stone/pebbles.

Which material would be the most suitable, and how thick should the gravel layer be to effectively prevent weed growth?

Thanks for your advice.

Regards,
Marc

If there is already weed growth, it will keep coming back regardless of any loose material you add. I would simply suggest adding topsoil and sowing grass seeds, then mowing regularly. This way, the weeds will be less noticeable.
