Polarbär-14 Aug 2009 16:42Good day
Slowly but surely, it is time to say goodbye to our old oil heating system.
We are now interested in a new and ecological heating method.
Can anyone help me with the topic of geothermal energy – ground source heat pumps?
Which type would be the most cost-effective in terms of cost-benefit ratio?
Kind regards,
Polarbär

Based on our experience, I can highly recommend a ground source heat pump. However, it depends on whether you are allowed to drill for geothermal energy in your area (you can find this out from your local authority or council).
We also chose a ground source heat pump. At first, air source heat pumps were considered, but the cost analysis clearly showed that ground source is more worthwhile. Additionally, ground source heat pumps require less space and operate quietly, which I also see as advantages. If you need more information, I’d be happy to provide it.

Kohlenschaufler-121 Aug 2009 23:33Hello Polarbär
With a heat pump, you are definitely on the right PATH FOR THE FUTURE. By using geothermal energy combined with a heat pump, you can heat in the winter and easily cool in the summer (when combined with a mechanical ventilation system). And as our summers get a little warmer year by year, it’s almost like having an air conditioner.
