KleineMaus24 Jun 2015 12:56Hello!
I have ordered a LIVSLÅGA gas cooktop.
The advisor told me that it must be connected to a stove outlet. Unfortunately, we don’t have one in the kitchen and would have to open up tiles and walls to install the connection.
I also can’t imagine that just an electric igniter would require a high-voltage power supply.
Running the stove without electricity and lighting it with a lighter probably isn’t possible.
Can you tell me anything about this? Can I just use a standard Schuko socket? Or simply a lighter?
Thanks in advance!
Edit: Never mind. We probably just need to attach a Schuko plug to the cable and then we can use the socket.

IKEA-Experte24 Jun 2015 15:44Hello, I agree. Unfortunately, Elektrolich or Strudel do not provide information about power consumption and refer to the rating plate, but since a Siemens gas cooktop specifies 1 W, it is likely similar, so a dedicated circuit is completely unnecessary.
